The upcoming India Craft summit is the one and only platform in Bihar to discover the folk, traditional and tribal art and expressions, from India and abroad. On its debut edition, and further planned to take place bi-annually in the historic city of Patna, the Summit tends to engage with vernacular artistic traditions critically, and to enhance awareness of the strength of indigenous art traditions and expressions of diverse cultural communities. The Summit supports arts education and professional development opportunities to develop societies of 21st-century crafts persons, armed with technological advancement, knowledge, and skills to attract global investors and carter the global market.
